DESCRIPTION

Perma R-Tone Filler (RTF) is a three component epoxy resin based mortar used for filling joints between acid proof tiles in the industrial floors, swimming pools, cafeteria, shopping malls etc. Perma R-Tone Filler provides aesthetic, germproof, permanent, hard wearing, chemical resistant joints for industrial floor tiles. It provides a smooth, hygienic and dust free floor tile joints.

PRIMARY USES

  • For grouting industrial floor joints and joints between kota stones, mandana stones and joints of any such acid proof flooring materials where strength and chemical resistant properties are expected.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE

RTF has excellent resistance to the following chemicals: hydrocarbon solvents, oils, fats, diesel, fuel, sugar solution, salt and several acids.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

    Preparations of the area:
  • Make sure that the tiles or the stones joints operation is taken up atleast 72 hours after laying of the tiles or the Stone.
  • The joints should be dry, clean and free from cement mortar, adhesive, dust, grease etc.

  • Application
  • Apply masking tape on the edges of the tiles or to the stones joints are to be grouted in one direction.
  • Clean the joints using a blower.
  • Mix the base and hardener components and add the filler and mix to get a uniform consistency free flowing mortar.
  • Pour the mortar with a mug in the joints taking care to see that the mortar does not fall on the tiles.
  • Gently tap the filled joints to evenly fill the joints till a sheen appears on the joints and leave to cure over night.
  • Next day apply the masking tapes in the perpendicular direction and fill joints as explained above.

COVERAGE

Perma R-Tone Filler cover 25 sq.ft. per Kg if joint width is 8 mm and tile size is 12″ X 12″

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Epoxy product generally causes irritation to the skin. Use of hand gloves by the workers is advised. Upon completion of day’s work all packing materials should be burnt and buried.

PACKING

Perma R-Tone Filler is available in 1 kg & 10 kg pre weight units.

SHELF LIFE

Perma R-Tone Filler has a shelf life of 12 months if stored in manufacturer’s original packing in cool and dry place away from moisture and heat.
